E-Learning Uncovered Blog: Adequate Color Contrast

In certain demographics, up to 8% of the population is color blind in some way. And many learners who can distinguish between different colors have trouble if there isn’t enough light/dark contrast. (If you’ve ever struggled to read teal text on a white background, you know what I mean.)

Choosing adequate color contrast is one of the simplest ways to improve the accessibility of your e-learning–or any content you create. In this ATD Toolbox Tip video, I share a simple tool to help you evaluate and adjust your color contrast.

And if you’d like to know more about accessibility, check out my one-day workshop coming up on March 9: Create Accessible E-Learning With Articulate Storyline 360.
